Hamed Ghaednia, received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran, in 2006, 2010, and 2010, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in tribology (mechanical engineering) with Auburn University, Auburn, AL. He was with the Parsian Robotic Group, Tehran Polytechnic, Tehran, and a Graduate Assistant with the Vibration and Noise Control Laboratory, Tehran Polytechnic. He has published papers in the fields of vibration control, magneto-rheological bearings, and contact mechanics. His current research interests include nanoparticle lubricants, nanotribology, and contact mechanics.
